Boston Music Awards- Proceeds from this event go to the NEMO Scholarship Fund, providing scholarships to children who want to advance their music education but might not be able to afford to do so. Some of the proceeds from this year's event also go to support the New England Music Hall of Fame, a non-profit organization that archives the great history of music in New England.
Hot Stove, Cool Music - NEMO and parent company, TRP Sports & Entertainment, manages and promotes this bi-annual event each January and July. The event is hosted by ESPN baseball guru Peter Gammons and features music by Buffalo Tom, Kay Hanley, the Dropkick Murphys as well as a number of professional athletes and sports personalities like Theo Epstein, General Manager of Boston Red Sox. This event has raised over $200,000 for charity.
Passim Folk Music & Cultural Center- NEMO is involved in supporting and promoting the efforts of this legendary Cambridge institution. We are assisting with sponsorship solicitation and consulting with the board as they launch a major capital campaign to raise money to support their programs. Passim supports musicians that we know and love at Club Passim, but they also provide children's programs, mentoring, and education through their various support programs.
